Fred Said
Many of you will know who Fred is. He has asked me to assist by informing readers of a problem that he has encountered and feels that all propertyn owners should be made aware. He asks that you check with your bank or home insurance provider to see if you are covered for damage below ground level. The circumstances that he encountered were: A freindly neighbourhood Rat had managed to gnaw through a plastic pipe running from the toilet in his underbuild. He suffered water damage to the underbuild and the two small rooms therin. On trying to make a claim, his insurance company stated that his policy did not cover anything below floor level. Needless to say he has cancelled his insurance renewal and is now looking for , as he puts it "a genuine insurance company".
