This weeks match was fished on the Eden Canal part of the River Segura, in Guardamar.
It was a lovely day with brilliant sunshine and the river was in good condition.

Ist on the day was Dave Bacon, second was Martin Stratford,third was Dave Hill and in fourth place, one of our lady anglers Ann Fowles.

Next weeks match is also on the Eden Canal and it is the Clubs Fur and Feather event- pegs at 9.00, fishing 10.00 to 3.00pm.

This Saturday saw the Clubs Annual Dinner Dance and Presentation night at the Marjal Camp site in Guardamar, with Trophy winners being Stuart Thompson- Dennis Pick- Eddie Badcock- Barry Homer- Derek King- Ian Dalzell- Bob Rafferty and Austin Vieth. So congratulations to all of them.

The Clubs Christmas Quiz will be held on Tuesday the 13th of December starting at 7.30pm. The entry to this special night is just 1 Euro per person, and teams of up to 6 people can take part. A finger buffet is provided, and everyone is requested to purchase raffle tickets to cover the cost of this. This is the only Quiz Night in December- the next one will be held on January 31st 2012.

The last Club meeting for the year will be on Sunday the 18th of December with the Committee at 10.00am and the General meeting at 11.00am.

The Clubs home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which is situated just off the new roundabout near to the Repsol garage on the N332 between Guardamar and La Mata.
