Hi my partner wishes to buy a car for when he comes over from england (he works in England, I live here), does anyone know if he needs an NIE number? to purchase one or could I get the car in my name and he drive it? I have my NIE number and Padron etc etc. I have heard that the car is insured and not the driver so im wondering if this could be possible, I dont have a driving licence! or do I need to show one to buy a car?

if anyone has any idea would be much appreciated

You need an NIE and a passport for the car to be registered, so you can do it in your name. Ring Keith again 661 321 036 and he will explain what you need to do.. no obiligation re the Peugeot, just a helping hand
