There were a couple of Policemen looking around the bars yesterday morning, they were looking at cagneys and the small German bar and then they walked around the front and I don't know where they went then. One was quite a burly fellow.
I am a great believer of 'hearing from the horse's mouth' and can confirm the police did visit us in Cagney's Bar on that day. They were trying to deliver a letter addressed to Dino's bar with the name of a previous owner. They asked to see my license to prepare and serve food on the premises, which I was able to produce. They were more than happy but did inform me that there are bars on the urb that are operating without a licence. They were very pleasant and were satisfied with my documents. Kate From Cagney's
Kate I was only commenting on the fact that someone had mentioned we had a New Chief of police and I happened to see them wandering around the Parque, I did not even see them go into your bar, I only saw them walk by. If you were upset by these comments please believe me I am sorry. I will also apologise to you in person. I have a great respect for you and Ricky. I only mentioned your bar like I would have said I saw them looking at Consum or Supervalue. They just happened to be looking at the bars. They could have been looking for the CD,DVD sellers for all I knew. Its funny I cannot find the original comment now? Its obviously been deleted.
