WARNING SCAM

JUST A WARNING TO ANYONE RECEIVING A CALL FROM SOMEONE SAYING THEY ARE FROM MICROSOFT PLEASE IGNORE THEM IT IS A SCAM THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE LOADS OF VIRUSES THEN GET INTO YOU MACHINE AND THEN WANT YOU TO PAY FOR IT TO BE REMOVED. SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE FALLEN FOR THIS.

Yes, one of our computers has a virus. A message ( in spanish) came up on the screen saying that someone had been viewing child pornography from it and until €100 was paid they would not unblock the computer! Luckily we were not silly enough to part with any money. If you entered your card details, god knows how much money they would take you for.
Even so we will know have to pay someone to get rid of the virus.

YES HAVE HEARD THAT I SPOKE TO THE LADS IN THE COMPUTER COMPANY IN CALLE DUBLIN AND THEY SAID THEY HAD HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE IN WITH THE SAME VIRUS AS YOU AND ANOTHER THAT COMES UP SAYING YOU HAVE PORNOGRAPHY ON YOUR COMPUTER AND THE WARNING IS FROM THE GUARDIA CIVIL. I JUST WONDER HOW MANY POOR PEOPLE ACTUALLY FALL FOR THIS.

Changed all our Laptops over to Apple
never get any of this rubbish now.
All these viruses are a thing of the past.

Hooray, I have managed to clear to new scam off my hubbies computer, so he is now back in action lol.
