I gather La Marina is an also ran in the Fiesta Stakes,The only place place i have found anything about it,is to go onto facebook and put Fiestas san fulgencio ín the search for people slot at top of page.Hopefully this will give you some of the La Marina Fiesta programme.
I think this just about puts into perspective on just what this council think of getting tourism going in this area.They have no intention of advertising that one of the biggest urbs. in Europe actually exists.Perhaps if they did one of the Councillors could be given the job of advertising the area,it neednt cost much,just common sense and charm.
The fiesta which starTs next week is not even on councillor Jeffs Blog (or, as pointed out last week, is the word Blag)!
Nothing yet in English in any newspaper about the fiesta, no posters, no programmes!

I haven't been on here for a few months and it was only when mates in the pub were laughing about how the level of bitchiness had driven most people off using this forum that I thought I would have a look and they were absolutely right.
It's always the same people making the same stupid remarks!
The reason these people never go and ask the relevant people is that it is more fun to speculate and bitch. Ask around yourselves and see what has become of the reputation of this forum.

I would ask them if I knew their names and telephone numbers! Can anyone on the forum tell me the names of councillor Jeff's five personal assistants, their responsibilities and their individual telephone numbers?
Clive......well said!! The pettiness and bitchiness has driven a lot of people away from this forum including Ian and Carol. Its a disgrace!
If moaning & complaining were olympic sports there are a FEW who get on here would be in london with a gold medal prospect .
Agreed Clive, Susan I don't know how many times I've said it on here 10am till 2 every day just go and ask, they don't bite.
Some of the posters for the fiesta were being put up this morning and you can collect a programme from jeff's Office telling you what is on over the Fiesta Weekend. it is on friday saturday & Sunday 3,4, & 5th of August it starts at 20.30. hrs on Friday & Saturday and 13.00 hrs on Sunday. It finishes at 4.00 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday morning and 3.30 on Monday morning. It seems there is music etc to please all tastes ending with a foam party on the monday morning at 2.00 a.m.
oohhh cant wait now as coming from the UK for the fiesta for 10 days. Only bad thing about coming to La Marina for a holiday is forcing myself on the plane ha!
Looking forward to next Sunday night at 9.30pm. Ricky and the boys will be bouncing around the stage as Fakers Quo which will be electric. Can't wait!!!
