Hi, is there a system here similar to the small claims court in UK?, or does anyone know of a system whereby an individual can sue another for damage caused to a property, without using lawyers?
I'm sure someone on here will be able to give me advice. This is where our forum comes into it's own.
Go and take out a denuncia against them through the police not quite sure how it works but apparently they can be fined for criminal damage to property etc.as it does go through the courts.
thanks negotiator, that's what I was thinking of. The damage caused by the Guardia was because the wife of the idiot living there called the Guardia and because he refused to open the doors the Guardia had to break in. I'm not rich. The only reason I have this house to let is because I had lodgers in my house in UK when my husband died. I shared my home with strangers for 12 years and that gave me the money to invest in a small house to save something for my family. I'm going to try and get them to admit responsibility so that I cam try to get them to pay. Keep looking as I will keep posting
I hope it all works out Mazza sure it will but it is all such a faff and really something you could do without...such is life and people seem bent on making it eventful to say the least
When we get past a certain age we could do without this stress and upset.
We came to Spain to enjoy a good weather and retirement. La Marina is a great place. But has added to just upset the apple cart. Hopefully it all works out in the end.
