Local polcia a bunch of cowards

I've just spent the last 20 minutes arguing with a Spanish family down Juarez Carlos off of the grey area. This all started with fire works 20 minutes ago My dogs were going mental so I followed the smoke it took me to juan carlos. This divy family thinks its ok to be setting off fire works in there front garden with houses all around them. I'm trying to get them to come Into the street luckily theryhad sense not too. The house opposite has two dogs that were ripping each other apart and I couldn't stop them as they were two big dogs bleeding every where it took 10 minutes to split these dogs apart after spraying them with water and so on. There's nothing we can do for these dogs until tommorow. There was blood every where. This was all because these in considerate idiots were letting powerful fire works off in there front garden when there are houses all around them.
Now for the polcia. The owners of the dogs tried calling the police they drove by 3 times why I was trying to get this guy out of his garden and eventually trying to help these two dogs. The local police here are a bunch of cowards all they would of had to do is spray the dogs to split them apart and yes I've seen dogs pepper sprayed before. Not nice but would of stopped the damage they have both done.
I understand fiestas and fireworks yes but not randomly doing it why two dogs are ripping there selfs apart.
I can't believe how much of a cowards these two police officers were.

Agree with you Andi,seems like we dont get the pick of police in this area.Or perhaps all their training is taken up with ways to harrass Bar owners,by causing them as much aggravation as possible.

Alan it was crazy, it was all because of these fire works the dogs were ripping each other apart. The Spanish people were across the road from these dogs. They just didn't care no matter how much I was shouting and trying to drag the out of there gate, as I know I couldn't of gone in there garden unless I was invited. After they stopped I tried with the dogs but they were two big and hence Mr plod driving past 3 times knew there was a problem saw me arguing and trying to grab the guy throw the gate but didn't want to know.
Like you say they have all the time in the world to persecute bars but not actually help the public.

I thought one had to have a lience to set off firworks, outside of a Fiesta week. ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿So as this was not a fiesta week why did the Police not take any action. One does wonder does one not???????

Our dog - Sara Dos a S.A.T. rescue dog was in a hell of a state!!! firstly she tried to hide under the bed, then she started going yampy outside, she was also physically sick with the upset!!!

Did it cause trouble with your dog last night Linda.
I can't express how dumb and shocking the police were last night and this would of continued if I hadn't of been stupid enough to of grabbed this guy and try dragging him through his gates.
I've never seen two dogs ripping each other apart like these two were just because of these fire works this guy was doing in his garden. If I new how I'd denounce the local police for how the ignored this.

The fireworks at the fiesta did not have the same affect, but then they were not actually bangers, the firstworks last night, even made us jump everytime!!

They were rattling our windows and we must be a good 800 metres away that's why I went looking for it last night an that's when I came across the dogs ripping eachother apart un the Spanish guy and his family letting them off that's when it just turned into a huge fiasco with the police the dogs and me ad this guy. His words were he was having a fiesta in his garden

I dont know which fiesta you went to Linda but as the fireworks were set off not more than 50 feet from my front door I can assure you that several of them were very loud bangs but when I commented on this forum about my cat being terrified all I got were remarks about being a moaner not that I am unduly bothered that people make those kind of remarks, probably dont live as close to the fireworks or dont care about animals and have nothing better to write about.

Trevor this was no fiesta some idiot at about 22:10 last night was as he said "having a fiesta in his garden". They came to a abrupt holt.

I didn't see you comment re. your cat at the fiesta fireworks Trevor, all i can say is they did not have to same affect on our dog.

Well Linda how close do you live to the site of the fiesta,my house was about 50 feet from the fireworks and like a lot of people if it did not affect them they could not careless so they would rather say that people are moaners.

We live just down the road from consume square and we were actually walking home when the fireworks were going off and they were a stunning site to see.

It probably didn't affect Sara Dos as we new they were going to happen so we left her inside.

Andi, was it the local police that turned up? If it was and they were useless, as it sounds as though they were, you can report them to the guardia civil, they are above them. They will take it seriously and the local police will be repremanded. I did something like this years ago, and it did work, the local police were not at all amused as they got into bother from the guardia. Also, if anything like this horrendous carry on happens again, please just get in touch with the guardia, no point whatsoever in phoning the local police, guardia's number is 062 I think.

I was actually looking into it about taking a denouncia out on the local police here. I don't think useless is the word suitable. 3 times these waste of space "local town hall workers" because that's what they are drove past and saw exactly what was going on. I have heard the gaurdia do like getting one over on the the local police.

Yes, you can do a denuncia on it no problem, tell them everything, and how they did not do anything. Tell them also about that awful family. I would do it as soon as possible.
