Laurel and Hardy

We have been several times to Laurel and Hardy s at El Raso and found it to be one of the best restaurants in the area. Not only are the staff 1st class polite and obliging but the food we found excellent. I could be wrong but I did not think the shoulder of lamb was as much as this, our son had the lamb last time he was out here, and he had to have a doggie bag, it was such a large portion. I am diabetic so I don't have a pudding, so they give me another starter, last time it was their tomato and orange soup, superb. One of the reasons we go to this restaurant is for the ever changing menu, brilliantly cooked and presented. I hope the managers read Lin and Sheila's comments and address them in a professional manner, I would suggest a complimentary meal for 4 at El Raso, and show these two ladies what a beautiful restaurant you are. I know they would not have written these comments without feeling agrieved. So come on Laurel and Hardy, don't let me down, show them what you can do, and the next time they post a comment on here its one singing your praise.

Yes I agree it was a big portion, so it should be for 20.50euros, but really no good if you cant eat it as I said overcooked and the chef had the cheek to say that he had tasted it what!!! My dogs enjoyed what I fetched home so it wasnt wasted.

Pamickpamick I'm so glad you've come to the defense of this restaurant. The Curry Mahal opened a good while ago and had a vendetta going on against it on here. We've been about 8 times,(last Sunday was the latest visit) and taken 8 friends and we've all been happy every time. What one person likes another doesn't but being married to chef for 38 years and running an establishment I understand it isn't always perfect. Enjoy your visits there. Happy eating x
