It seems that Nikki at PICASSO RESTAURANT on the strip is closing her doors this coming Friday 14th September. It has not by the way been sold. Rather sad for staff and clients.

Very sad. A dream gone to dust. Most people think that running a business is easy, and they can tell "Everyone" how "They" could easily do it. People who put their lives and income on the line are very brave. They commit to a life that has heavy outgoings without knowing what their incomings are going to be. If you haven't had the bottle to try and do it yourselves, please don't knock them. I hope life gets better for them. Good luck

So sad to see another local business close its doors. It has been part of la Marina for a few years. Quite a few people have enjoyed it, but sadly not enough. All the best for the future.
I have only met Nikki a few times, it is very sad that she is closing her doors not only for her, her staff and of course her customers. As a Bar/Restaurant owner myself (Rojos) I wish her well,good luck and all the very best. x
Its always bad news to see another businesses go to the wall but if all these people that purport to like these places used them more it would not happen, after all the old saying use it or loose it.
The next thing when there are just a handle full of places left the same people will be moaning there is no where to go/choice if there was they would use them more!!!

we always try to spend our money locally and can't understand people who don't. I've had more than one friend who has bought electrical goods on the market only for them to fail. Our electricals come from Euronics. We have the 2 year gaurantee and we can speak to him in English. Furniture comes from our 2 local furniture shops and we shop at all the local grocery stores. We don't eat out much as we have to watch our euros but we spread it around when we can. We're so lucky here with the selection of eateries and food shops and many and varied shops. Why keep a shop going in another area when it could mean us losing one of ours?. Think about it, you know it makes sense.
