We have just had a large lorry load of best quality logs delivered to our Villa.
At the moment Ian is stacking a few of them up so we can get out of the driveway. SO by this evening we will have a beautiful Roaring Log Fire burning away to keep us lovely and warm, instead of freezing like we have been for the past week or so.
Can't Wait !!

HI Carol, Where did you get your logs from and what sort of price ? I have in the past got them from the one opposite the petrol station but find them very expensive so am shopping around this year!
Not sure of the name of the Company, but it was in Crevillente. We had a Spanish friend of ours order them for us.
We received 3,260 Kilograms and the cost was 391 euros. I could possibly find out the details if anyone is really interested.

lucky you Carol I would love to have one fitted in my little villa but the only wall it could go on I need to put my sofa across, so looks like sticking to the gas fires, which are not too bad.
Just had a load of firewood delivered from a man in Benejuzar, very helpful, arrived when he said he would and the best bit 1500kg for 120โฌ delivered free to La Marina.
Most interested in which quality it was? There are three in all top one they call Oak.

Ok, our wood was a mix of Oak, orange,olive and Lemon. Nice mix of sizes and seems to burn if set light to, The mans name is Antonio, he does not speak much English but with my bad Spanish and his bad English we were able to organise delivery over the phone. His number is 639111588.
That is a bargain!! I have his number was going to call him, but is the wood dry? At least a year old? Last guy who delivered to us promised dry wood, and it still had lemons on it!!

The wood was dry, delivered in a tipping trailer and seems well seasoned.
this man stands on the saturday market down by Lidl's with his trailer full of logs so you can have a look at quality, size etc. He is very busy so you may have to wait a day or so for delivery
thank you for posting in the first place about this chap, got delivered on time 1000 kilos for 80 euros and the wood is just fab, well worth it its burning fantasticly !! very nice spanish people well worth recommending them :)
I just got some, the guy's sister delivered a ton for 80 euro, and the wood is top class for the money! Very nice family and very prompt, will be using them from now on!
