men's sandals
Does anybody know where we can get men's sandals with a proper fitted heel instead of straps. There are plenty available online but it would be better if we could get them in a shop so they can be tried on. Thanks folks

Malika You misunderstood. She is saying that you can try the sandals on at the market - not your husbands.

Dont stop this thread now,It is the funniest one i have read on here for ages.
Which helps prove we do have a sense of humour even when we dont realise it
would anyone have 2 left foot sandals size 14s uk in pink,,,could swop for 2 right foot.

I prefer my hob nail boots But would sandals go with a burka /full tribal dress robes ?

2nd casa, hob nail boots, havnt heard that phrase for years, along with words like blakeys nailed to edges of shoes to stop the leather wearing out.......Oh those were the days.along with cardboard placed inside shoes when the soles have holes in them
Try the Clarks outlet off Marton Rd near Blackpool Jct 4. Just been for some this morning because I'm coming over in June. I'm the same as you-I like that support on the heel. £18-
Bit expensive but Clarks always are- Steve
There is also a nice little shoe shop in San Fulgencio village , my husband bought a pair of full back leather sandals in there a couple of years ago , bit more expensive than the markets but leather was really soft( no you cant try them on!!!)

Why someone wants to buy second hand sandals beats me. I dont think Mazza is that hard up!

Malika, I hadn't thought of second hand sandals, but you have opened a new door of opportuinity for me. Does anyone have a pair of size 11 full backed sandals for sale? Malilka is this your way of getting rid of Mr Malika's old shoes?. Hubby has lots of shoes, very nice ones, but he needs sandals.

Whilst we're on the subject of shoes etc - does anyone have a remedy for smellie feet - and theyre not mine - I have to sleep with them every night.
3 weeks ago I had a bunion operation and the bandages are making my feet smell awful. Last night in bed I'd had enough. I went in the spare room

I have a righr foot that a size 43 fits nicely but my left foot needs a 44 to fit comfortably,am hoping to meet up with something who has 44 right fit and a 43 left fit.Outcome to be we both go out a buy a pair of same style sandals and swap to meet our requirements.

Alan, with 2 blokes you'll be in with a chance. Can you imagine two women agreeing on the same style. However, I suppose the answer to that would be to buy two pairs of shoes each.
As nobody has commented on my comment, I assume you've all realised that I would be taking my smelly foot with me !

Cathcook, I didn't want to embarrass you by mentioning your smelly feet. I'm worried in case others start mentioning other smelly parts and as an old lady I'd like to keep the forum sweet
Mazza, The markets do excellent mens leather sandals with a fitted heel.My husband has bought lots of them over the years and you can try them on.
