Tall, Ugly, Brick Shed. Waste of space unused building. Does anything ever happen in there. If so they could do with a PR person, to tell the rest up here on the estate.

Glad I'm not alone with my views about the building.

Not many comments about this. Are people afraid to discuss a church building? Are you afraid that the Cross shall fall on your head when you walk by? Superstitious? Maybe it is so simple that no one cares about this "La Sagrada Famila" de urb. La Marina. But what about the the contribution from us taxpayers? Has that ended?

The Iron Rod of the Churches has these days gone and these types of beliefs (fairy tales) are seen for what they are. But people on the whole are not over keen to admit to that. Hence big ugly churches are these days not encouraged by most of the public, to be bottomless pits as cash cows. When you think of how much has over the years been poured into the Church coffers it is horrifying.

The enormous churches that exist in many cities, not just in Spain, are fantastic buildings. As buildings! Well worth a visit when no activities are carried out there. But it's terrifying that people have paid huge amounts of money from their savings due to fear of the Church.

Find it rather strange that the God Brigade have not come back at you all guns FIRING. Maybe the powder is damp? Just goes to show how things are changing. It is now the turban ones who have to wake up. They Will,but when?

I do not mean to be unkind and am aware that a lot of people feel that they have to have something to believe in. But the comments I made on my reply in this post are far more factual than I stated this in a very toned down set of comments. For years nice kind ordinary people have been badly misled and bullied about religion and thank goodness more and more people are realizing it. This was a one sided affair where religious people had all the say over so many people. It is often forgotten that nearly all wars in the past have been about religion.

My apologies Reindeer, I mis-translated your rejection application from the pasta church (it was in Latin...) Being English, I mistook the phrase "its not that tosser from La Marina is it?" as meaning that you needed to improve your bowling action at cricket.
