Easter Fiesta - Consum Square

Don't forget the Easter Fiesta in consum square this Saturday 19th April from 2pm (advisable to join us about 1pm) in conjunction with San Fulgencio Town Hall and The Final Whistle/Mels Kitchen, Aloha, Palm Bar and Tia Marias - we have the popular duo "Diverse" entertaining us for the afternoon followed by Barry with some "disco tunes" - food will be served throughout the afternoon inside and outside - Look forward to seeing you there!!

What a wonderful day again, with beautiful sunshine and so looking forward to this afternoon, meeting up with loads of friends, enjoying some scrummy food and drink at Aloha Bar and Restaurant and listening to Diverse Duo for the Easter Fiesta.

Thank you to all the bars that got together to put this on for us.

All these little fiestas are just what La Marina needs, it is great to see 3 or 4 bars working together to get an act / singer so that everyone can have an enjoyable afternoon.i
We enjoyed the one organised by Sams Bar, Rojos & La Tabinita two weeks ago, then last week the one organised by Delicious, La Luz & Bar Bar, the singer they had Paul Michael was brilliant.

Now today, another fiesta to enjoy organised by Final Whistle, Aloha, Tia Maria & Palm Tree, looking forward to it.

It is good to see this on the urb just a shame that it is only at the same places, poor old ( grey area) phase 4 get nothing excuse is it's not big enough, maybe not but it does have 4 of the best restaurants on the urb and it would be nice to have a share of all the festivities ...

What a fantastic afternoons entertainment and loads of people at all four bars. The four bars organised it themselves, so I am sure four bars in the grey area could do them same.

winterbottomandsophie,
The reason why there is very little going on in the grey area is nothing to do with the place being too small,...it is easy to get a mini fiesta set up there,...all you have to is get a group of 3 bars and apply for a mini fiesta license at the council offices. But the trouble with the grey area is,...other than Woodstock no other bars want to join in through fear of not getting as many punters in as the bar next door, and then you have Bobs Bar who will do everything they can to get something like that stopped (i.e. complaining to the police) as they hate any possible chance of people enjoying themselves,...unless that is of course if its in their bar and in silence!!,...they have done it so many times to other bars in the area...pretty sad really!! but I do agree,...the grey area could do with some livening up once and a while
