I've got a few comments on this. How does a committee get voted in when a vote by the general assembly,association members DID NOT vote to elect this committee. It doesn't matter if only one person stood for each role they still have to be elected by the members on a majority vote, there's no way its in the statues that if one person stands for each role and no one challenges them then that person takes up that role. You still need a democratic vote by the members of the general assembly to vote in the three officers that allow you to run an association. No constitution will state if there is no one willing to stand against someone else then you obtain that role because your the only one who stood. No solicitor or adjudicator will ever let that fly. My second question is, you have mentioned who is dealing with the cats why is there no one dealing with the dogs or is that being done privately by someone else. I wish the new committee of K9 good luck but my own thought of this is that it sounds very weird.

I know nothing about these things, but I know what makes sense and this does not.

Just look at this one statement

"Each committee position has received just one nomination and, therefore, voting to elect a new committee will not be required at the EGM".

In that case why are there 2 "Treasurers Diane Smith and Brian Anderson (jointly)"

Charly it does sound very weird and out of touch. I don't claim to be a expert but I know all charities will have a constitution and statues to abide by. Maybe having two treasurers is to make sure no mistakes are made but, then the members who pay 10 euros a year membership and are the people who vote people onto the committee are supposed to vote people in. So who voted these two treasurers in. No one did, so both these people stood up together to run and they both received the same amount of votes, oh my bad like they said, there's no need for a vote. So all the members who pay 10 euros a year to have there say and a vote at a AGM or EGM have completely been ignored but some how you end up voting TWO treasurers in when a vote never actually took place. So how can you explain that, no vote was needed if you have issued two treasurers “jointly”. Sounds to me that you have ignored the people,members who have paid the fees upfront and decided to install who you want.
