License costs

I have just read on jeffs blog,that he has enquired to Elche Town Hall regarding the cost of getting an opening license for a bar in that area,He was told that normally it is 1450 Euros plus IVA.They have reduced the price by 50% for areas that are suffering economically so La Marina Village is 725euros plus IVA.He also says the amount per area also takes in several other things including noise disturbance.
He also says that these are figures he has been given by Elche,and unless they are lying,that is what the cost is.

Perhaps it is a good time to help the bars in La Marina Urb by getting to council to lower the cost of opening licenses in this area,because some of them and some other businesses are struggling and Iam sure any help from the Council would be appreciated
