OK how about the worst !!

It is so much personal choice, we have had good and not so good just about everywhere.
My opinion (which I am sure will be disagreed with) is that The Grill House is the best quality, but reasonable restaurant.
Just try them all out - only took us 2 years!

We have a place in Parque Del Duero
I would say thats the best Central place to be on the Urb being its only a 5min walk to the swimming pool or a 6 min walk to the Consum area and a further 4min walk to the Grill House.
And if I turn left where we are its a 8min walk to Our Plaice fish & Chips together with more good bars and restaurants on the Urb, and a very large super market.

But the most central point for the best bars and restaurants is Parque Del Duero and further more you DONT hear this noise that everyone seems to be complaining about !!

We are next to you on parque del manzanares and we find this a very convenient place to live as well. We used to live right down the bottom on Extramadura 10 years ago , it was a nicer outlook and detached but, you had to take the car everywhere. If I had my choice now I would have rented a property for a few months to see where I wanted to be. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

We love everything about the Urb.

We bought off plan in 2002 and our property was ready in June 2004, we used it as a holiday home until March 2011, when we moved over here permanently.

We chose the Urb because of all the local amenitites.

We live near the to Consume Square, so we do tend to use this area regularly, but we have also had some wonderful nights in the grey area and at Hillside and Cagneys and everything is within walking distance.

Finally, over the years we have made some wonderful friends and everyone we meet is so friendly too.

I love all of the Urb, just home from spending 12 days there...my parents have had a villa on the Urb for 26 years, on Calle Bilbao, one of the first to be built and we have spent many great holidays there and seen many many changes and know many lovely people who live there. we are already booked for our holdiays next year and yes we hope to retire there too..

If I had to choose my favorite place it would have to be the Hillside...if you have not been to one of their many evenings of entertainment..music, bingo, quiz you really should try..

Just noticed your request on what we think is the best place to live.
We moved here in 2008 and rented for 6 months just down from satellite roundabout. I would earnestly suggest you also rent first. If you do want to go house hunting, then take a compass with you and try and get a South facing rear garden (or West is fine). You need the heat from the sun in the winter months!

We love all of La Marina but For us the only place to live is Oasis. Our favourite restaurant is Curry Mahal. We occasionally go to shows at the sports complex but don't frequent bars as we like to have 2 or 3 holidays a year and as my Dad used to say "You can only spend your penny once"
