PROPANE GAS

Because of the Xmas and New Year holidays we missed our Gas delivery man from Cepsa so, thinking that by tonight we may be on our last cylinder, I went into the Ferreteria on the strip and asked, if by producing our Cepsa contract, we could purchase a cylinder just in case. I received an emphatic "NO". It seems that if I don't buy from the man on the lorry, I don't get any at all. So, if we have an emergency on delivery days we will have to shiver. How stupid can this be?

Eve, you can go to the depot in Catral (I think) and get an emergency supply.......if its not Catral phone your supplier (where you signed the contract) and they should be able to tell you where to go.

When we were on La Marina in September we took two empty gas bottles to the ferreteria on Ave Londres (near Bonnies etc) and they just exchanged them, no questions asked. Hope this helps.

Eve We didnt get a gas delivery on Monday so having no transport a friend kindly went to the garage and got us two bottles, no problem . you can also get them from Supa Valu Opposite the medical cenre and Mas y Mas in Rojales .When the lad came yesterday he proudly showed me a photo of his new born baby so all was forgiven!

Thanks for all your help everybody. I will go to the ferreteria on Avenue Londres and see if they do the propane gas in the dull grey bottles, for future reference. I think the ferreteria up the top were being bloody minded. I will not buy anything else from them in future.

I have missed you Andi, where have you been? Are you sure they are propane gas in the ferreteria? I pay 14.20 off the lorry but if I was desperate thaen I would be prepared to pay the extra.

Yeah the normal gas bottles the silver ones that are full. Yes there very expensive for the ferriteria on grey area, probably most expensive around.
Today i did see you driving but didn't want to distract you as you need to concentrate why driving.
