Does anyone know if I can get herbs and spices on the urbanisation or anywhere else close by.
Things such as Turmeric, cumin, curry powder, cinnamon and tins of coconut milk etc.....
It would be great if there was something like a Health/Organic shop in the region.
You can get all of the items on your list in the supermarkets and there is a Health Shop in La Marina Pueblo.

You can't get Tahini on the Urb! But you CAN get it in the health food shop in La Marina Village.

Yes i will visit the markets, however for some reason the English stall holders tend to sell items almost twice the price of the Spanish market holders. La Marina market is good but some stalls are rip offs unfortunately.

Driving down to village... turn left at Ceramica traffic lights onto main street. Then on one of the first corners on the right you'll find the health food shop. It's quiet small, and the entrance is in the side street, down some steps. Have to admit ... it is quite pricey there though! But she stocks a good range of stuff you can't get elsewhere.
all the spices you mention & even more can be got & much cheaper at the Saturday market near Mercadona. go to the vegetable lane where you will come across a spice counter run by a Spanish lad ...... you'll get everything you want.
as for the cans of coconut milk ..... Supervalu will have them. enjoy your curry ! ! lol lol
