Monday the start of the SABA League, The Explorers in the A Division and The Astronauts and The Pathfinders in the B Division, We wish them every success for the coming season.
Monday Morning La Marina Pathfinders played La Marina Astronauts with the Astronauts winning 5 Rinks to 1. The Pathfinders only winning Rink was Pam Morgan, Rex (you never lose it) Cameron, Skip Jim Freeman 22-16.
For the Astronauts, Sheila Kirby, Bill Bould, Skip John Norman won 16-15. Reg Jackson, Sue Daniels, Skip Len Daniels won 15-13. Brian Murray, Jack Chorlton, Skip Jim Manning won 24-17. Kathy Manning, Derek Shirley, Skip John Albutt won 20-14. Margaret Jamieson, Margaret Finlayson, Skip Bill Jamieson won 26-16.
Shots La Marina Pathfinders 97 against La Marina Astronauts 117. Points La Marina Pathfinders 2 against La Marina Astronauts 12.
Monday Morning La Marina Explorers played away at San Luis Klingons. Winning three Rinks and just losing out on Shots.
Colin Probert, Andy Bartlett, Skip Dave Lewes won 18-17. Freda Keiller, Alex Whyte, Skip Alan Castle won 20-12. Graham Senior, Peter Parsons, Skip Dave Williams won 20-16.
Shots La Marina Explorers 94 against San Luis Klingons 109. Points La Marina 6 against San Luis Klingons 8.
Tuesday Afternoon in the Fed 4's La Marina were at home to the Emerald Isle, Emerald Isle won on two Rinks plus the Shots 81-46,
La Marina's winning Rink was Brian Murray, Brian Zelin, Alex Whyte, Skip Graham Norris 24-22. Points La Marina 2 against Emerald Isle 6.
Friday Morning La Marina Dolphins played away to San Miguel Jaguars,Winning on 2 Rinks.
Viv Zelin, Derek Shirley, Skip Brian Zelin won 21-20. Brian Murray, Phil Pape, Skip Jim Manning won 20-19.
Shots La Marina Dolphins 89 against San Miguel Jaguars 135. Points La Marina Dolphins 4 against San Miguel Jaguars 10.
Friday Morning La Marina Sharks were at Home to La Siesta Hoopoo's winning on 5 Rinks.
Chris Webb, Tom Spencer, Skip Roy Hart won 23-5.Ron Maiden,John Pryme, Skip Alan Castle won 22-13. Martin Webb, Dennis Foster,Skip Maureen Kidd won 20-13. Rose Foster, Alex Whyte, Skip Fred Norris won 38-7.
Graham Senior,Bernie Carr, Skip Graham Norris won 27-8.

Friday Morning La Marina Seagulls made the long trip to La Manga Crusaders winning on 1 Rink after the match was called of after the mandatory 14 ends due to bad weather. Winning Rink was, Dave Freeman, Gina Donnelly, Skip John Morgan 12-10.
