Ryanair

What a crap comment Ryanair as opened up europe to everyone at a reasonable price.
You don,t mention what a white elephant the new terminal is at Alicante at a €65 million cost when Spain is in the S***e The only one losing out will be the hoteliers and businesses in the area

I get the feeling you may not agree with my comment,but as this is a forum that is your right.
What you are talking about is completely different to what i was,but if you want to clarify your position,i will explain mine.
When the Airlines were told of the new terminal they were told that all aircraft would be using the new airbridges,Ryanair was the only company to object,and it tried to hold AENA up to ransome.stating that ryanair would have to find two million euros a year to pay to use these airbridges,they also stated how many jobs would be lost if they didnt get their own way.They have estimated that they transport five million people per year into or out of Alicante.Although other Airlines were not enthralled by having to use the airbridges,only Ryanair took AENA to court and lost and appealed and lost and so on.Looking at ryanair own figures it would of cost around 40 cents extra for every bum on seat,I dont know of many passengers who would of objected to paying 40 cents per trip.
I travelled mostly with Ryanair,not because they are the best,but were normally cheaper than the rest,and i didnt mind being treated second rate for two hours at a time if it saved me money,if I had objected i would of travelled with a different company,Obviously not only will we have to travel on the more expensive airlines,but because there will be fewer seats they will be even more expensive.Also believe you missed out the most obvious loss and that was not hoteliers and businesses,it was the general public,or dont they mean anything to you,and even more important in these hard times the people who are going to be jobless

I heard that Ryanair are moving into the old terminal and it will solely be used for Ryanair. Ive heard this for many months and things are in progress but dont know how true it is?

I have heard that a few times as well,but only through other people hearing it ,.nothing in newspapers to suggest it could be a fact,But it would be a good idea for everyone if only it is true. the fact that Ryanair love free advertising but have said nothing,would suggest it will not happen.

Well Debra can you read or do you just make things up where did I mention Ryanair charging to use the toilet and from what I have read on your post above regards to entertainers there is only one on here talking Bullsh** half of the entertainers turn up the backing music so you cannot hear how bad they sing

Two comments on this debate.
Firstly - as far as I'm concerned, I decide where I want to go and then see which airlines fly there. I've never said, where do Ryanair fly to and we'll decide which of those destinations we'll go to.
If people want to come to the Costa, then they will, regardless if Ryanair fly there or not.

Secondly, there was a report in the UK papers yesterday that commented on a Which survey that showed in the majority of cases, after taking all costs into consideration, the so called low cost airlines were a significant amount dearer than scheduled airlines. Only the headline fare was 'cheaper' but all the add-ons made them more expensive.

I've traveled Ryanair once and what a terrible experience it was. No chance of dozing or reading something. Constant marketing of raffle tickets, food and drink, duty frees, collecting rubbish for two hours. As a final insult, as soon as the wheels have touched the runway we get a blast of music to announce that the plane has landed early and that Ryanair has the best on time/early arrival record of all airlines. How can you have arrived when the plane is still hurtling down the runway!!!

I'm sure that there are those who think different to me and they are welcome to their views. I just think that Ryanair is overhyped and lacks any form of customer service, especially if you have a complaint.

You appear to be upset about something,why not put something funny on here,so we can also have a laugh,and together we may all be cheerful,and find what a wonderful life we really have,after all this is not a rehearsal it is the real thing.you could even say something like Alicante Airport new terminal cost Spain 50 million plus,But that is about the same amount Torres cost Chelsea,and i wonder who got the best deal,hopefully you dont think that comment is c**p,if so sorry but live with it

How do you deduce that I'm upset about something because I made a factual comment.
I love life and enjoy living here in this particular part of Spain.
My comment was in response to a thread about Ryanair that I thought was valid and reasonable.
I don't need idiots like you to go off at tangents about how much Torres cost Chelsea and tell me that I might think your comments are crap.

If I want to read something funny I can always re-read your appalling punctuation and grammar.

If you are the same david but with a (capital D),then I dont mind that you didnt like the comment about Torres,but it wasnt meant for anything but to lighten a thread,and to stop it becoming a slanging match.If you are the same d (D)avid then my hopes of stopping a possible slanging match didnt work did it,as you definitely started a slanging match with me,
The unfortunate thing is,that if you read this thread you would of noticed.that david had a pop at my first comment,then had a pop at Debra's comment. I thought although I will go toe to toe,with most people,It really isnt worth subjecting other people to more rubbish on this site than has already been on here in the last few weeks,and i was merely trying to get away from people insulting others purely because they dont agree,or misread what is said.
Hope this puts things straight.But if not you can have a pop at me if it keeps your blood pressure down (Joke)

We almost always fly with Ryanair as they are usually the cheapest by far. Optional extras are exactly that and we always manage with hand luggage only and take a sandwich and buy a bottle of water in the airport and certainly do not pay for priority boarding or anything else unnecessary. The only added cost to the headline fare is the cost of paying by card. Its worth putting up with a 10 second fanfare for money saved.

Agreed Tim we do the same and we have no problems.

It was unfortunate that David upset you so much,but i can fully understand why you were gutted.
I believe two different Davids wrote on this thread,they did try to wind me up as well.
You will not hear from them for quite a while,they are obviously the trolls that i mention quite often on this forum,they try to upset as many people as possible,so that they stop reading and commenting,I always try to answer their inane rude comments,normally it is quite easy to show what thick idiots they are.I think both you and i have done that in this thread,So they will vanish up their own self importance
