Cockroaches

Yep cockroach heaven especially if you lift the drain covers !! or have any building work done

I'm terrified, honestly, of roaches but during the roach season we spray and I'd be surprised it we see more than six (most dead). We're on Oasis and it doesn't appear to be a big problem. If I saw anywhere with all dead ones I wouldn't chance it, but this is from a woman who found a dead one and as hubby wasn't home had to get a neighbour to get rid of it.

Hardly saw any this year, so 1000's definately NOT!

Of course there are cockroaches about in such a hot climate as we have in the Summer, but on the whole No, that is not true. We sometimes may see 1 or 2 during the Summer, but this year we didn't have any at all in the villa or on our land. I must admit I did see several when sitting outside at various venues, but nothing at all to worry about !

I think it would be wrong to say there are NOT Cockroaches in La Marina. The council spray the drains early in the year which helps. I have had them for the first time this year but have moved recently into an empty house. The sprays are brilliant and as long as you use them over doorways and drains you should be OK.

Saw more cockroaches this year, from big ones right down to teeny ones, than ever before. Has to be the heat!

We moved to Oasis 8 weeks ago and we have found 2 Cockroaches - 1 live one 5 weeks ago near our pool and 1 dead this morning near our gate. Can't swear to it but one of my cats may have been responsible for today's dead one.

I lived in a detached villa and never saw a cockroach, now I am in a terrace property I get the odd one during the months between April and September. They are no big deal if you spray the edges of your rooms, as this is where they tend to run, they run through the poison and it eventually kills them.
