La Marina (unhappy people)

I can remember La Marina in the old days not so long back when everyone was happy and glad to be there, but i think now because of some people not doing there sums before they came here wanting it all + more and expecting too much bang for there cent, thus making them resent-full of the others that had and are jealous so to ease minds and there sad lives complain,run down,slag off and spread gossip/rumors to bring others and the area down, even back in Blighty etc these same people would do the same as they would be just as unhappy with there sad little lot.
SO BE HAPPY why not try and be like the rest of us and forget the resentment/blame you have for others for your predicament, you may like it if you lower your expectations and enjoy yourself within your means or try going back to Blighty,and see how you get on.

Quite agree good old days .. After 25 years here the last 4 have changed so much might as well be in blighty... Everyone knows everything about everyone and everything befor they do and all the laws of Spain ... Where are the good old days when the police used to walk around at night say hello pop in have coffee make sure all is ok .. When you could have 8 piece band playing outside on a Sunday afternoon ...
