Traffic Lights.

There's only 2 sets of traffic lights locally that I can think of, one's in the centre of Guardamar and the other is in old La Marina village.
Now the lights in the village by the ceramica shop are totally outdated, they're a relic of by-gone days when the N332 ran through the old village when obviously the traffic was a lot heavier.
How frustrating is it to be sat at the lights for what seems an eternity when there's no other cars on the road ? You could be sat on the beach by the time they've changed to green ! Surely it's time these lights were taken away and a nice new roundabout put in place, with a couple of palm trees and some flowering shrubs planted there to beautify the place. Just a thought.

Yes Big ed, You are perfectly correct regarding those traffic lights, in fact the way that they are set up, makes for an accident, unless the driver realizes how the lights on that particular roundabout work. Where as all it know needs is a normal roundabout. Unfortunately the area it is in, is part of Elche, which means getting someone from San Fulgencio Council to take up the banner and get Elche interested in changing it.
