FIESTAS

Does anyone know where I can find a list of bank holidays, fiestas etc in Quesada and surrounding areas please.

Quesada

I would also love this. Is this something that could be put on the events calendar. I certainly would appreciate this but have no idea where to find this info

It would be helpful to appeal to someone from the Rojales area about this, maybe the town hall could help.

I think Quesada fiesta starts the first weekend in August. Rojales is the first, I think it is last weekend in June. Party in the park at Recorral this weekend, so if you live close then expect no sleep, music don't usually stop til 5 am

Hi Try www.fiestas.net, and its in English as well.
Try not to visit Lorca in Murcia at the moment, there was a serious 5.4 earthquake Wed afternoon, 8 people killed and lots of destruction.

Hi the three most important fiestas are 15th of May, San Isidro large event held in the Recorral park, people set off on a pilgrimage from the Church in the Town at approx. 8.30 am and walk up to the parkwell worth a visit.
Then the 29th of June is the feast of St Peter the Apostle, patron of Rojales the Moors and Christians are centred on this date.
Then on the 7th of October is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary more a series of religious processions than an excuse for a party.
