Hi all, I am moving over in November, my brother and sister in law are coming to visit for 5 days, does anyone know of a bed and breakfast or a hotel in La marina?I cant find anything on the web??
Cagneys do bed and breakfast and is just off the strip.

Pleased that you looked up cagneys,Often been to the bar,drinks are cheap (wine,beer,soft drinks all One euro each)they have a new menu,good cooking,and food very reasonable prices,Dont really like telling everybody about it because if the word gets around,i wont be able to get a table.
A Great Bar, run by Katie & Ricky Patton.
They do a great Sunday lunch up until 8pm, have great entertainment on and a Tuesday they have a bingo night, with a fun quiz night on the first Tuesday of each month.
Great and friendly atmosphere.
Hi, I can't believe that I can get a beer for a euro??? god I wont leave the place...looking forward to moving over even more now. Do they have entertainment all year round or just high season? while im on the subject...does it get very quiet out of season, I will be living there and hope it don't turn into a ghost town in the winter.

Cagneys and some of the other bars have entertainment all year, but mainly at the weekends.
It does become very quiet here in the winter (not quite a ghost town lol).
Have a look on the events page on this forum as there is a good choice of events on there.

Hillside Sports Complex
There are lots of things going on throughout the week during Summer & Winter months. There is live entertainment every Friday evening where you can have a meal, drink and dance !! Plus on a Sunday all Winter is Karaoke night with Play your Cards Right.

The Satellite Sports Centre - this is a very popular, large Venue. In Summer we all sit outside listening to the live entertainment. In the Winter months they do have live entertainment on at the weekend and you can get a lovely meal at very reasonable prices.
