It seems very confusing. My take on this is, pets in Spain is run by Mr Lewis and family. I guess after the elections last year and him not retaining his seat may of caused problems inside K9. As the animal budget he was receiving was for vet bills towards K9. So he loses his seat k9 lose a lot of funds towards vet bills. So if that's the case the K9 committee would have to cut back on dogs/cats whic would be normal when you lose a lot of funds. Then all the drama kicked off with the previous committee caused by current members and committee.
My own personal view is K9 are very deceptive now, let's just go back to when K9 opened there shop. Impact charity was still donating €450-550 every two months to K9 why they had there own shop. When a vote was taken to stop these donations (which at the time the K9 committee did not like this and it caused a lot of arguments. Why on earth would a charity give another charity donations when they have there own shop - greed).
Alan things need to be transparent and that's why I'm asking the councill to try and look into the idea of forming a independent body to oversee these charities.

Just to correct you, Andi - Pets in Spain is run by Yvonne Lewis, not Mark. La Marina info website is run by Mark Lewis. Neither Mark or Yvonne, or their websites, are anything to do with K9 - as the K9 website so clearly says! I think the photo of Colin with Lesley was put on those websites to allow people to see the supposedly "vicious" dog.

That's good to know , so next time impact charity offer pets in Spain €100 euro donation for a dog they had in there care,his daughter will turn up instead of Mr Lewis. So yes he helps run it and his doing a good job, ( they didn't need te donation as there Facebook page had raised the funds for this certain dogs treatment) . So Sue believe me I ain't down talking pets in Spain.

HELPS run it, being the relevant point! Most of the time Yvonne is "tied" to her computer, trying to find homes for abandoned animals. I know exactly which dog you´re referring to and yes - thru the Pets in Spain Facebook page, Yvonne did manage to raise enough for Tito´s treatment. As she does for many other animals, helping to find permanent homes for around 30-40 dogs and cats every month.

As it happens Andi,I didnt mean any sarcasm.
The last I knew about K9 was about some inner turmoil,but I still thought Marc ran it.
Pets In Spain,I knew nothing about,I e-mailed them a few months ago about something,which was answered quite fully,by a Lady called Yvonne,now I gather that was Marcs wife.
La Marina Info,Always seemed to be very biased,and didnt take me long to realise that probably Marc ran that.
What was confusing me ,was why La Marina Info. printed the first bit of news from the Leader,but didnt print the second one. It was then I realised i didnt actually know who did what,but know it is all clear,so i really am thankful to all the people who put information on here for me.

I take that back Alan. If I'm honest about it when it comes to pets in Spain and la marina info and the running of them I have no idea. A reader commented a week or so ago and was spot on, when you have a committee that is to big, Eg the size of a footie team things will not run correct at all, and she was right when she said most of them won't haves animal back ground, by that I don't mean you have kept pets all your life.
A committee should be a small functional group of 6 at the most.
I hope Jeff is reading this and looking into this about seeing if the council are entitled to form a independent body to monitor charities in the area.

Just a quick change of subject Alan. What the hell is jol thinking of in releasing Andy Johnson, the of the big striker can't say his name and if I'm correct in reading Danny murphey. The man has lost his mind. It's time Mohammad put some money up for some decent players

All is not lost down at the Cottage,Andi,
Johnsons contract has run out,he could of gone to Q.P.R. last season for a couple of Mill.but chose to wait to become a free agent to get a few big pay days,Fulham payed 12 million for him,but he has always been dogged with injuries,so really he was an expensive player who played little football.
Murphy is suffering old age,and although a good captain,he rarely played 75 minutes a game last season,so possibly this year may only be 65minutes per match,and you know you need 90minutes plus players.
Havnt heard about Pogrebnyak,but he was only on loan from Stuttgart,for last season with an option for Fulham to buy him,I believe he was offered a contract,but said he would wait until next week to make up his mind
My worry is that our reserve goalie looks like going to w.h.u.but our main goalie is getting over the hill.Where as Stockdale is young and he is a pretty good goalkeeper.
Another worry is that Dempsey and Dimbele are both subject of interest from a few of the big boys.
Other than that,we have a few players that have come through the Academy,who will make a mark on the first team over the next couple of seasons.
So it isnt all bad news.
I am not keen on Jol but i couldnt stand Hodgson,
I dfancy the Managers job myself,I was offered it before Jol,i almost took it but the sun came out over here,I am just waiting for a call from Barcelona(Ha Ha)we can dream
