Impact Charity... Donations 2009 - present day

Evenining all.

Over the past few weeks a lot of customers have asked us in the shop about PAWS and the vet bill. Asany of you know they are in debt with there vet bills. The exact figure I don't know but a customer today said €4.000 euros. There is also a letter at the vets asking for help from the public in bringing this debt down.
My take on this along with the committee is, we are not here to bail charities / groups out. We are a charity itself, I will not put impact charity at risk in any danger at all. My priority along with the small organised committee we have is to keep impact charity alive and kicking and free from debt.
I will now show you the exact amount Impact charity has donated to PAWS and the other groups / charities we have supported in the past few years.

2009
Impact charity handed out €18.000 euros.

€6.000 PAWS
€6.000 Finca Lucendum
€6.000 K9

2010

Impact charity handed out €17.025

€5.675 PAWS
€5.675 Finca Lucendum
€5.675 K9

2011

Impact charity handed out €10.956

€4.000 PAWS
€4.606 Finca Lucendum
€1.200 Easy horse care
€900 Vet Bills
€250 Medical needs for a rescue dog.

When you add these amounts up over the past few years I believe Impact charity has done very well on helping these groups / charities.
These amounts do not include what PAWS or Finca Lucendum have recieved on there stalls that they do once a week.
As I states and agreed by the committee, Impact charity is not here to bail out any group / charity, we help with what we can and when we can.
We will not put Impact charity at risk of any debt.
We try to help other groups / charities other than the ones we support, for instance, Impact Charity donated €100 euros o K9 for 3 German shepp pups they had in there care that were thrown from a moving car
We also offered €100 euros to pets in Spain for a certain dog. Due to the amount of support pets in Spain receive through Facebook this dog was able to receive its treatment through them donations.

Thank you

Christine.

Christine, regarding the three German Shepherd puppies, the lady that rescued them paid for the first puppy vaccination for each one. Subsequently, their new owners took on the responsibility of the remaining vaccination for the pups.

K9 WERE NEVER INVOLVED IN ANY WAY WITH THEIR RESCUE, CARE OR REHOMING SO WHY DID IMPACT CHARITY GIVE K9 A 100 EURO DONATION FOR THESE THREE PUPPIES!

Sue.

Can you confirm that K9 Had nothing to do with these dogs at all. We donated €100 euros to these dogs, not any other dogs in K9s care. This was made clear to the president of K9 who was at the shop when this donation was made.
Is the anyway you can email me proof of this because if so I will be speaking to them personally regarding this.
K9 put a big appeal on there website regarding these 3 dogs and we responded to it. If these dogs were re-homed instantly and K9 did not have any contact with them at all then the€100 euros should have been passed onto the people who were caring for them.

After talking to Sheona (K9 president) on the phone, I would like to point out that the €100 euros that was donated for these German shepp puppy's has been put aside for 6 months. The lady, Cynthia refused to take the donation for these puppy's. If the donation is not needed by Cynthia or will be returned back to impact charity.

I would like to know who this wsue055 is, because i am ashamed to have the same initials as this person, you need to get a life and stop trying to discredit K9 who i think are doing a wonderful job, I have been on the K9 website and all the info about these dogs were on the web site, every one needs to remember that all K9 people are all volunteers at the end of the day, so if you would like to give me your name ( if you dare ) and i will meet you, then you can show me what proof you have.

Am I being dumb - or is the last posting wsue055 trying to find out who wsue055 is?

So why then does it say you are? Have you looked at who it says wrote that comment?

There are 2 people using the same email address starting with wsue055@ and then a different email provider.
I changed the system last week so that if a member did not use a name on the forum then the first part of the email address they used to registered would be seen.

Surely one or both of you with the same start of your e-mail address can actually put a name on your settings,it would stop the confusion occurring.
