Bars etc entertainment

Surely if the bars etc have the correct paperwork etc in place they will be able/allowed to carry on with there lawful right to put on entertainment etc providing they stay within the rules or has the recent events been brought about by the UN-licensed owners carrying on and the others/moaners etc complaining to the powers to be ? So how about a reply from all the bar owners do you have the correct paperwork in place ? if so what is the problem with carrying on as normal.
I am not against any type of entertainment be it live music, comedy, quiz's,karaoke, bingo, lap dancing strip clubs etc but be it at the right place with the correct paperwork I see no problem, BUT if you have bought/run a place without then you have only your self to blame for the outcome and demise of your business and our great area etc

Well said
I would think that the only places to be effected are those that are trying to run a business without the correct paperwork.
I am sure that the bars that have been paying the correct fees are not happy when others do not.

Your local councillor stated that if a local resident complains about noise from a bar the police will ask that bar to turn down the sound or turn it off, unless the resident retracts his complaints,It wouldnt matter if the bar did or didnt have a license.
During the summer the council gave backing to concerts in the open air, outside bars which it is claimed do not have licenses, and even helped by having the roads closed. So all this blame on licenses etc. dosnt hold much water.when will we see the obvious reason for this anti bar fiasco
