Hi hazel, yes Tom remembers Frank Barnes on the M.E.B. I remember Roy Barnes, Pat and I think it was Colin only I can't be sure. They were quite a big family. The boy Barnes I remember worked for Derek Aldridge on the farm and i think his wife Allison died quite young. Now I think about it I think his name was Derek as well. I have deleted my facebook account today because of problems I could have had with two people. I can remember Mrs Barnes vaguely, I remember her as quite a short, plump lady. Thank you for the newspapers we both read them and we passed them on to my friend who was born in Bream.

When my dad died in 1969 my mum gave Roy his little Jack Russell and I think she lived to be about 20 years old. My brother bought me a second-hand bike from Pat when I was about 15 and I lived on the Farm where Derek used to work so my life has crossed with the family quite a lot. Its a very small world isn't it. Perhaps we can meet you in the Village some time for a coffee, I don't work Mondays or Wednesdays. I look forward to hearing from you Hazel. xx
