Hi, we have decided to move to La Marina, we were looking at Almoradi or Albatera, but I have a 13 year old daughter and I think its best to move to an area that has more English people to start with?? well anyway could anyone tell me about the schools in the area, are they within the urbanisation or far away??? I dont drive so would this be a problem? Think thats all for now, I am having yet another sleepless night with everything going through my head.

There would be no problem getting your daughter to school from La Marina as each morning we see several school buses go past our office. The main schools are about 2 miles away in San Fulgencio. Will you be buying or renting when you come over?? People who do not speak Spanish prefer this area as there is a good mix of English speaking people.

hi Ian, Thanks for getting back to me. We will be renting to start, just to see if we like it. I did look to moving to a Spanish village at first (which I would prefer eventually), but because of our lack of Spanish at the moment and one of my daughters ages I though it would be best to move to a place that has more English people to start. Do you know if the buses are school buses? because my other daughter is only 5 I dont realy want to put her on a school bus on her own.
