Iber Switch

I am looking to change electricity supplier.
I have looked at Iber Switch to act as agents for me to do this,As I would have a one off payment and a monthly payment to them to do this,I wonder if any forum members have changed over using them as agents, and if so did they reduce your electricity costs by enough to make it worthwhile.

To be perfectly honest with you Alan we changed over in April, it does seem to be cheaper but, we only get a bill every two months and every other one is estimated and as I cannot get into our meter to read it, I don't know where I am. I hope I am not going to have a nervous breakdown when we get the next read bill.

Try 900telecom. They are the main sponsors of San Fulgencio Football Club. They don't charge like Iberswitch do and works out a lot cheaper!

Thanks for that info. Peter.Have looked at there website, and the fact that everything and everybody is in or speaks English.Although the savings seem less than Iberswitch, this can mainly be off set by no extra charges,by 900telecom,they also state that everything is done in English which is another plus for me.Unfortunately I went onto the application form and it is all in Spanish. So I will telephone them Monday and complete the application by phone. Also I will check out their phone and internet charges, but will leave that until after Christmas As the saying goes 'It pays to advertise'

Hi Alan
We have a bar on the Urb and changed to Iberswitch about this time last year. They took the โ‚ฌ30 that you have to pay the in around April of this year and finally we were switch over around August time. To be honest we think it seems more expensive but they assure us that we have the cheapest electric there is. Also as a business we would normally get our bill every 2 months and now we get it every month, so you feel like your getting a bill from them constantly. We wish we had stayed with the supplier we had before which was Fenosa ( Gas Natural). After christmas we will definaley start to look for another cheaper supplier. Also when you phone Iberswitch, although they are English you can never speak to anyone who can actually help you. You always have to wait for them to call you back.....if your lucky they do. We also recently had a letter from Iberdrola as they equipment still belongs to them. They said that money was outstanding ( which the supplier should be paying them from the money we pay) and they said the would cut us off if it wasnt paid. Iberswitch said quite a few of their customers have had this problem!! We are still waiting for this to be sorted.
Good luck and do let us know if you find a good supplier.
