While I fully agree with the help which is being given to the people who are desperatly in need of it,I also agree with the lady from SAT about animal charities,animals which have been abandoned cannot help themselves they are dependant on humans all their lives.The food being given to needy people is admirable but I really hope the right people are receiving it .In San Fulgencio village the same group of people wait outside the church each week and go away with carrier bags of goods (I dont know what it is) and then go straight to the market buying clothes.Makes you wonder!!However I sincerely hope that all the people who needed help and received it have a better Christmas because of it and hopefully will have better luck in the New Year

These are my sentiments exactly Anonymous. I do feel sorry for people who are genuinely in need but unfortunately it is not always these people who get the help. The majority of these people are too proud to ask for it. Like a lot of people during the war years we were brought up to be independant. I will get off my soapbox and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
