Having had Torresat for some time with no problems we would now like to install our own dish at our villa near La Marquesa club house. The website for www.a2sat.com gives a professional impression and we like the fact that the company is an established business with local premises but would be grateful to hear comments from anyone who has used this company please?
Alternatively, Go Satellite (www.freetvspain.com) also looks professional so any comments would be welcome please. Is this the same Ian who is mentioned in earlier posts about Totally Digital?
Hi Ian of Totally Digital is not the same Ian from Go Satellites. If you wish I can talk to you regarding systems I have available. Either pm me your tel no or I can be contacted 966718364 / 671281361 or email email@example.com
Hope I can be of help
DVBlab supply both internet and TV - they supply mine and were really helpful. You can google them and they are local to Quesada.
Hi my name is Ian Fraser the owner of Go Satellite (no connection to Ian Totally Digital). If I can be of any help please do not hesitate to contact me either via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or 965725670. We can arrange a free no obligation site survey.
Hi Ian (Fraser), is your company still doing the wireless internet installations? I heard a while back from a neighbour that you had some trouble with parts or something. She had recommended you to a friend and nothing had come of it.
Yes Go Satellite are still installing wireless internet. We did experience a shortage of equipment due to the high level of installations. However I am pleased to say that this problem has now been rectified.
The prices for installations are 99€ for Broadband + 19€ per month (no contract, switch on/off service), so you only pay for the time you are in Spain.
If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact me on:
email@example.com or www.quesada.tv
Just thought I'd say (having just had a very swift next-day installation by Go Satellite) that it works out as great value for money for anyone renting for a few months when you compare with the cost of a dongle and bandwidth.
No contract and cash accepted makes it a very convenient and easy option for anyone here temporarily.
A wi-fi service which I can switch on/off and only pay for when used would be ideal for our holiday rental villa but I understand that the Go-Satellite service does not cover the side of Quesada near La Marquesa club house. Can anyone advise if a similar service is available for this area from another company?
Try DVBlab on 966260940 - Peter is very helpful! You can also contact them via their website.
I would be interested in what DVBLab say as the last time I contacted them they were putting up a mast in Formentera, but it never came off. Where I live on the Marquesa side of Quesada, it is very difficult to get any signal, having tried for 2 years for wifi internet I am still without an answer. If you have a clear view of Harry's Bar at the hightest point of Quesada, you should have no problem, if you don't you may not be so lucky. Would be interested in how you get on.
I sent an enquiry to DVBLab from their website but unfortunately didn't receive a reply.
