POWER SURGES

A few months ago the residents of la Marina were told that new switches were to be put in to stop the power surges and breakdowns in electricity supply to the area.This was meant to be completed within six months.
Today I have read,that Iberdrola are now advising residents to purchase surge protectors for their most expensive equipment AND to take ALL plugs out of sockets at night as a further preventive precaution.
They also now ,do not know how long it will take to upgrade their equipment and have not given a completion date.
Make of this what you will,but to me ,it says maybe one day.

I agree Alan, I have just had a refund from Iberdrola for 8.13 euros equating to 14.14 hours of power cuts how they work this out I do not know. So far I have had 3 X computer power supplies blown 2 X sky boxes 2 X Telephonica hubs 1 x telephone system and 1X burgler alarm system the total cost is over 1,600 euros, when I try and complain,I am told they will look in to it. Right, we believe them, don't we boys and Girls
