Stars in the Bars Fun Night

Just to let everyone know, that we had a great night at the Hogs Head tonight, the atmosphere was electric, everyone enjoyed themselves, the two people who brought stars in the Bars to Hogs Head were Mandy and Lyndon A big thank you to you both you made the night. Also a big thanks goes out to the artists that performed there tonight, Tony Lincoln, Benny, Dave E Moss, J.J.Soulman and of course Lyndon B. You were all terrific, Also a big big thank you to Paul, Jan and all the staff, who did a great job. The food was excellent, and the service excellent.

We raised approx 400€, which Pete and I will get food for these families and all receipts will be in the town hall. The final figure will be announced tomorrow.

Many thanks to everyone who attended this function, and hopefully we will be able to have another one in the near future.

Yes, quite agree Pauline - you must be very pleased how the evening went and so well attended - in fact completely full inside and out and even Jeff was there !!

The owners and staff were extremely friendly and the service was very good. The artists were brilliant, although I'm not sure what happened to Lorna Michelle. BUT, there were still 5 excellent artists entertaining. In fact one we had never seen before - Benny. He deserves a special mention. A very young good looking talented young man - and what a voice - he will certainly have a great future ahead of him. Well done everyone.

To be honest we had never been to the Hogs Head before, but we would certainly go back. A great night. Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it Carol, Lorna Michelle couldnt make it she phoned Mandy during the day, so they had to ring round for another entertainer, who was the lovely Benny. I would like to say again a big thanks to Paul and Jan for their kind donation.

Just a quick note to let everyone who attended the great night on Wednesday at the 'Hogs Head, the final figure is 432€, Thanks once again to everyone. We will be getting the food next week to take to the Town Hall.

Ian I checked the videos out, very good.
Before very one jumps out of there body warmers can I clarify something. This is not for the homeless this is for people who are struggling to feed there selfs. If this was for the homeless then Caritas would be who everyone would deal with.
Before anyone says anything yes there is a homeless guy I know of, AJs bar know of him as they have given him drinks in the past and he has showered an had clothes from Impact Charity because he was in desperate need. That's homelessness.
I'm not trying to put things down because by looks of the videos it was a great night and for all the right reason but this had nothing to do with home less people.
