Bobby's Bar
As we have friends over from England we decided to go somewhere different and thought we would give Bobby's Bar a try at Quesada. We had reserved seats previous to the evening.
As we walked in every table was full (except the one we had reserved)!! We sat down and were asked if we were the correct people for the table - Yes we were - so that was Brilliant.
Very quickly we were asked would we like a drink - oh yes please 2 bottles of Emparrado!! Then we ordered. I was expecting to wait for well over an hour as it was so very busy. A very nice surprise when all our meals arrived within about 20 minutes. Well Done Everyone !!
Wait for this bit - the price of the meals was ***2 meals for only 5 euros***. How excellent is that? We will most definitely be going back again. Plus with Dutch Dave & M singing, and also our lovely friendly waitress sung - Libbie Loo - what a lovely voice she has. Another lady - Pia also has a beautiful voice. SO, a very entertaining evening. Thank you Bobby's Bar for a Great Night...........

Dutch Dave is on in La Marina Friday nights at Bar Amsterdam just out the back of Lo-Lo's on the main strip.
Amsterdam Bar is around the back Carol, upstairs by the launderette, where S.A.T. shop was before it moved to its new location.
MAZ - I had sausage, eggs, chips & beans. Ian had steak pie & chips. It should have been with mash but as they were so busy they had run out of mash, but Ian said the pie was delicious. I think I will have that next time. There were quite a few other choices also.
Thank you for your lovely comments about Bobby's Bar, we have a fantastic team, Newby our chef is amazing and every meal is made from scratch, our bar staff are the best with the added bonus of our Libbie who is well known for entertaining our customers with her great voice. Dutch Dave is a firm favourite with everyone hence we are always fully booked on a Wed Nite - thanks Dave, but a huge thank you to Newby who is not only the chef but manages the bar for me and his dad - what a team Craig & Lynne PS we also serve coffee until closing time cos our customers get what they want.

Libbie is very talented, she is amazing at her job and is currently trainee bar manager, she has been building up her confidence in singing over the last 18 months, she got thru to the 2nd round of the X Factor but was then told she wasnt what they were looking for!! we all thought they must be mad, and we pushed her into her first actual public engagement when she sang on stage at the Quesada Fiesta for 2 hrs and believe me she was fantastic, and if all goes well she will be singing at Benidorm Palace with Dutch Dave on the 12th May next year so watch this space!!!
Thats what ASL is all about, spreading the word when something is good!!!
