LA MARINA GOLF SOCIETY AT BONALBA

On Thursday we played for the HENRIETTA MEMORIAL TROPHY

Today we played for the HENRIETTA MEMORIAL TROPHY an annual competition in memory of Alf Baggotts late wife. Alf who is a long standing valued member of our society. we had a few call offs before the match but still 32 players had an enjoyable days golf in the sunshine.

Although the greens were not at their best we understand the work has to be done. Our thanks go to Richard Davis and the staff for their help on the day. Results are as follows

Nearest the pin: Hole 4 Mike Ingle, Hole 8 Barry Carter, Hole11 Vic Smith, Hole 14 Bill Mcgrandle
Second runner up John Grint 32 points
First runner up Frank Juchau 34 points
Winner Barry Thorogood 41 points.

Our last quiz of 2012 is Tuesday 23rd Oct at La Marina Sports complex at 7.30 pm. anyone wishing to join our society would be made most welcome or if you just want to have a game then call Bill on 679007756
