There was a lady on here yesterday I think it was Myra who said she was going in to the town hall this morning to see the girl, has she found anything out or was she stonewalled. If what Alan says is true then Jeff you are a blasted disgrace in not telling us somehow.

Sorry the only event the council have advised me about us the Fitness training for teenagers which was mentioned on here this morning. The only thing I can suggest is that anybody wants info on planned events they check out the councils Fcebook page or pop into the town hall. Remembering of course that the council will only have info on council arranged events.

The 3rd edition of the Rock Arena will take place in la Marina, San Fulgencio on Friday the 12th and Saturday 13th July 2013. The concert will be held in the Recinto del Mercadillo or the Market Area in the Urbanisation of La Marina near Calle Lisboa and Avenida Justo Antonio Quesada. Tickets can be brought from the Tourist Office and Town Hall in San Fulgencio and cost just 10€ for the two days. The band line up includes:

Yes thats right ....La Marina will be Rocking this weekend...

I wonder why people are paying 10euros a ticket.Last year it was held in the market place,and bags were searched before you could enter,no they were not looking for guns or bombs,but cans of beer and food,in the market place was one beer tent,with beer double the normal price and one sort of food place which I didn't want to look at.On the perimeter road outside were heavy metal fans,with bbqs and cases of beer having a great time drinking beer for about a Euro,rather than walk through the gates and pay 4 Euros a beer.
Wonder how many will be outside the market doing the same this year,and saving a further 10euros on the entrance fee.Perhaps you will be allowed to take beer in this year,and 10 euros may be for the privilege of doing that.

I also wonder why Jeff hasn't had any input on the Rock Concert, it could well be that the Concert comes under the Councillor for Youth. So Jeff may of been pushed aside, Similar to last year when he stated the concert would only cost about 8000 Euros,and when another Forum announced it was TEBLE that price jeff went on one of his rants, Only to apologize later as he hadn't been told that the Venue and other things had changed, but Jeff was on holiday when this happened apparently, and no one bothered to tell him when he came back to work. It could be we blame Jeff sometimes, but perhaps the Council prefer to think he doesn't exist
