ROCK CONCERT.

Well like many others I feel the need to remark on the concert, I love live music but the volume of this concert was just to much considering the time it went on till, I live near consum and it was so loud in my house I did not try to go to bed until it had stopped,as for the people that live close to it, I can only feel sorry for them. I have to blame the council for putting it in an area so close to houses why not have it at San Fulgencio football ground there are very few houses close to it so fewer people would be disturbed by it. We have the Fiesta soon and that will go on until 4am, I love the fiesta but not after 2 am and certainly not that loud, if anyone wishes to call me a spoil sport I could not careless, there is a time and place for everything and music that loud at that time of the morning is not acceptable to most people.

I was sitting on the terrace of Patagonia last night,(corner of mentioned Consum square) and it was NOT that loud at all!
A couple of times a year, it get slightly louder than the music coming from a bar, and some people are throwing their rattles out the pram all over the place. I heard one old couple comment who live right near the market, saying "when we close the windows, we cannot hear anything much!" Some of you moaners just want to turn La Marina into a graveyard! Move out to finca where you hear nothing........but then, you would bitch about the crickets being too loud?
Is not nice to see that La Marina is not a graveyard.....yet? I think most people would say it IS acceptable to promote our village, help put it on the map, and bump up the house prices a little in the process?

Your comment amused me, ,so its allright to make horrendous music all night in the village as not so many houses .There are still many people living here. I live twenty minutes walking distance from the football ground and when the fiestas are on in Oct its almost as though it is in our garden ,When the wind is in the right direction we can also hear the fiesta noise from La Marina. Therefore wherever you live and wherever the noise is people are going to affected .for quite some distance away..

You were young once (and so was I!!!) let the young be young. Close your windows, have a scotch (or sleeping tablet)

Joe.First of all my comment was not in response to your post and if you took the time to read it correctly at no time did I say the noise bothered us I simply said that wherever the music is you can hear it from a good distance away.Years ago we lived in Quesada 2 and when the Moors and Christians were on it came straight through our bedroom window until 8am for seven nights but we just got on with it.We can still hear it now in San Fulgencio..I very rarely put a comment on here having seen some of the snide remarks people get in reply .
