Shared pool Marina del Mar 6

Hello All,
We've owned house in Parque del Nalon for 9 years now and often been curious about the pool, 50 feet from our door. Is there any procedure whereby we could join the committee and contribute to the pool upkeep, in return for a key ? We're only at the house for 4 weeks a year and it would be lovely to have a morning swim before breakfast.
Thanks in advance,
Peter and Lizzy.

What you need to do is find out who is the president of the community,...you can do that by asking anybody on marina del mar 6 who owns a property,..they should be able to provide you with his/her number or address,...then you can simply just put your suggestion forward to them,...if you were willing to make a yearly donation to it's upkeep,..i really don't think there would be a problem

Thank you for that advice. I will make some enquiries when we're out in October.

I hate to pour cold water on your suggestion but communities are not allowed to rent out services to people outside the community, and the only way you could use their pool would be as a guest of someone who is resident on the community and with you at the time.

Oh bummer ! I didn't know that. Out of curiosity then how does it work when the properties are rented out, as I think most of them are ? I suppose there's no harm in asking the president anyway, eh. The worst that will happen is he/she will say no. Thanks for the advice.

When the properties are rented out the people in them are resident in the community and therefore allowed to use the pool. Also it is not really the presidents decision, as each property owner is a part owner of the pool and any changes to the conditions regarding use of the pool would have to be a joint decision of all the owners.

I am a little confused as to what Parque del Nalon and MDM VI have to do with each other, If you live on Nalon go and speak to Rex (if you don't know him one of your neighbors will) he will enlighten you, if you live on MDM VI ( and there is only 16 properties on MDM VI) then you have a right to use the pool, that is why you pay your commuinity fees.

Hello Zenophant,
The only connection we, in Nalon, have with Marina del Mar 6 is that we're right next to them. However they have a community pool and we do not, hence my enquiry as to whether we might be allowed to contribute to their community charge and use their pool. I don't know who Rex is, I'm afraid. How would he be able to assist, do you think ?
Thanks,
Peter and Lizzy.
