THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME

JUST A WORD OF ADVICE TO MR & MRS PICK & PAY. HOW MANY MORE CUSTOMERS CAN YOU AFFORD TO INSULT BEFORE YOUR BUSINESS GOES UNDER. I KNOW YOUR PRICES FOR YOUR PRODUCTS ARE GOOD BUT YOU ARE NOT DOING YOURSELVES ANY FAVOURS PICKING UNPROVOKED ARGUMENTS WITH CUSTOMERS. ESPECIALLY AS I HAD SPENT OVER 130 EUROS THERE IN 5 DAYS. I CAME INTO YOUR PREMISES TO BUY INGREDIENTS FOR BAKING FOR CHARITY AND ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS PAY FOR MY GOODS, GO HOME, FEED AND TAKE OUT MY DOGS AND SIT DOWN AND HAVE A CUP OF TEA, NOT BE UPSET BY THE LIKES OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU. I KNOW OF TWO OTHER COUPLES WHO HAVE BEEN TREATED IN THE SAME WAY - GOD KNOWS HOW MANY MORE THERE ARE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND YOU WON'T HAVE A BUSINESS LEFT.

May I ask just why are you telling the rest of the world your problem
should you not make your complaint to either the Shop in concern
or the Police if your not satisfied with the way the shop had dealt with your complaint.

I did not have a complaint, the person doing the moaning was Mrs pick and pay. I have already told them how I feel about the way they carried on. I am still confused to what her problem was. I went into the shop, picked up the goods i wanted, paid for them at the till. She pointed out I was not buying an amount of flour to correspond with the amount of dried fruit I had. I had already bought a quantity of flour a few days before. She was rabbiting on about Iceland prices and because i said well they charge 1.50 euros for every £1.00 item she went off the deep end. I was not really interested in the conversation. She went on and on so I said as I was at the door that I would never go in the shop again. She followed me into the car park and he came out shouting even though I don't think he knew what was going on. He pointed out that i had had 3 lots of discount, I don't know what he said this for as I had not complained about anything. he then stated that he would have the goods back and return my money. I locked the boot and told him to get lost. Is this the sort of treatment you would expect from Mercadona, Llidl or Consum? As for putting it on the forum, I thought this was a place people could voice their opinions or is it only you who are allowed to do that.

I've been there a few times over the years and every time I've thought that Mr & Mrs Pick & Pay were not at all friendly.
Agree with you Eve - you don't need hassle like this and inquisition as to how much flour you purchase with regard to fruit that you buy. What's it got to do with them as long as your paying the price they are asking.

Businesses don't deserve custom if they can't treat people with politeness and respect.

Undoubtedly one of the most unwelcoming businesses in possibly the Universe!
