What is the area like?
Hello all
We are planning to move from France to the Cumbre del Sol area in the next few months. As we will be unable to check out the area before we make the move, we would be grateful for views as to whether this is a good area to live. We have not lived in the UK for several years so are used to expat communities. We are planning to take a medium to long term rental so we can explore the area fully.
We are relocating with our cat so can someone please advise if residential areas have speed restrictions and if they are generally pet friendly?

We do realise that Cumbre del Sol is in North Costa Blanca but thought that, as a location option is given, that this forum covers multiple areas. Please accept our apologies if this is not the case but perhaps someone could point us towards a more appropriate forum?
There is a La Marina near Benidorm, perhaps you've got the wrong one. But hey, why not try this one.
Hi there, The Cumbre del Sol is a well established and popular urbanisation situated close to the town of Benitachell in the heart of the Costa Blanca, Alicante. The urbanisation & on going development is set on a very high elevation and affords magnificent views to the coast and surrounding natural areas and mountain ranges. (You need a head for heights in some places).
The complex offers excellent amenities, close to beaches and many leisure pursuits. It’s an ideal destination for family and golf holidays. There is easy access to both Valencia and Alicante airports. It can be very quiet in the Winter and does get cloudy & windy being so high. The village of Benitachell would be a better place to live or, surrounding villages. (By the way, you have posted in the Urb La Marina area).
Hi The area you refer to is in the North Costa Blanca, La Marina is in South Costa Blanca
