Planted a lovely Orange Tree about 8 weeks ago. Lovely, blossom lovely, little Oranges lovely, now all Oranges have dropped off and leaves are falling at a rate of about 40 per day. It will be naked soon. Well watered and fed??????? HELP

Perhaps, too well watered and fed??? I have an orange tree that looks ok but has never produced any flowers or fruit. I like to think its the only gay orange tree in the village....

Feed it once a month with proper citrus tree food - NOT normal plant food. I was advised to water mine when the leaves began to curl slightly - they don't need as much water as you think. Is your tree in a sheltered spot? Again this year I've lost the blossom off mine in the winds but, so far, a few tiny baby oranges are hanging on! Last year the winds blew them off the tree too.

I made the same mistake, too much water. Orange trees are quite self sufficient, they only need a good watering, say, every 4 or 5 weeks. There's plenty of moisture in the soil for them to be ok.
