I agree with you 100%. We have been round all the Wok places and were keen to try this one as we thought for the extra money they charged it must be good. But you sum up our thoughts. Never again

12.99 when all the others are 7.99 and the only thing you get extra is the very bad service.
Its Pona Pepa for us every time, the food is great and the staff wonderful. Did you know the girls work 12 hours per day and they always have a smile for you, so tip well please.

WHY do we feel we HAVE to pay & moan after we've been 'had' like this. My OH & I are the same. We should all complain & say we're not paying.
I've never been to a WOK other than twice to the one behind Haberneras in Torrevieja & the 1st time was unbelievably good but the 2nd time was terrible.
With Chinese restaurants we go to giving us 3 course meals for around 5-6€ with a bottle of wine between the two of us included I think WOKs are very overpriced.
We go to a Chinese in Guardamar by Dompte's on the road where Mercadona & Lidl's are. It has the strangest name Zhong Hiu, smallish & often busy. Excellent food & value.

Couldn't agree more - The Royal Wok is over priced, the food second rate, and we won't go back.
Agree totally that the one next to Consum is excellent. Our granddaughter has coeliac disease and even Soya sauce contains the gluten to which she is allergic. So we took a gluten-free soya with us and they made her a special meal without any fuss or extra charge. Charming staff and excellent value.
