FIESTAS IN ALMORADI

Can anyone tell me when the summer fiestas begin. I am told that they are known as Moros y Cristianos and it is such a spectacle that you have to see it once in your lifetime. Does anybody know if there are other fiestas before the summer? Thanks

hiya the grand fiestas with the moors and christians parades are always the last friday and sat in july then on the last sunday they take back the castle but pretty much for 2 weeks before that there is market stalls etc is a brilliant atmosphere

I concur the comments made by the last post and will add that there is also a street funfair for all, private parties, which everyone is welcome to and the general atmosphere is electric, especially during the parades on the friday and saturday.
