DON'T FORGET FOLKS SAT ANNUAL SUMMER FETE ON THURSDAY 25TH AUGUST FROM 11.A.M. - 3.00 P.M. IN FRONT OF THE SHOP. WE HAVE A WONDERFUL RAFFLE WITH ABOUT 24 PRIZES. 32 ANIMALS ON OUR TEDDY TOMBOLA AND LOTS OF PRIZES TO BE WIN ON OUR TOMBOLA. PLUS GUESS THE WEIGHT OF THE CAKE( IF YOU WIN IT YOU MAY GET INDIGESTION) PLUS A CAKE AND SAVOURY STALL WITH HOME MADE CURRY, HOME-MADE SCOTCH EGGS AND SAUSAGE AND LEEK PLAIT. WE WILL BE SERVING FREE SANGRIA AND THERE WILL BE NIBBLES. COME AND SUPPORT OUR DOG CHARITY. YOU MAY EVEN BE ABLE TO MEET ONE OF THE FORUM'S ADMINISTRATORS, CAROL. SHE WANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A WET-T-SHIRT CONTEST. WHOA LINDA THIS IS GOING TO BE SOME CONTEST. I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD PAY TO SEE THIS.

Eve - Don't get excited - I didn't actually say that I was going to participate in a wet-t-shirt contest. I just suggested that it might be a good idea. I was thinking more in the lines that you and Linda would be up for it !!

Linda - I've just had a **Brain Wave**. You could be Auctioned off - the highest bidder get's to give you a squirt - we could put a "Reserve" of say 5 euros but somebody might pay more for the pleasure - Oh what fun he xx

On your posting carol you did say us girls, which means the 3 musketeeresses. You are not getting out of it that easy. Anyway I am exempt as i fell A.. over T.. outside the shop this morning so I am incapacitated as my knee is all swollen. I shall want tea and Sympathy tomorrow. In other words that daughter of mine can wait on me hand foot and finger. A glass of Sangria and a nice juicy beefburger for lunch will do me fine.

Anyway the men are going to bid for Linda - she's being auctioned off to the highest bidder.......... Poor old you Eve - you'll have to stop chasing these men at your age !!! lol

Peter they chickened out, and as I am the eldest of the three i did not think people would pay to see me. I will see what I can do for the Xmas fete and let you know.

I would like to thank everyone who came to the fete today and made it such a success. It was my first SAT fete and I was a little nervous but, everything went very well. It was all down to the staff and the people who volunteered to help us for the day. A big thank you everyone.

Thanks Pauline I was very nervous about it as it was my first, but, thankfully it all went very well. I will call in and see you one day but, at the moment, I am working 5 days a week. Eve
