lovely little dog for re homing

Our neighbour and his wife have separated. She's returned to the UK and he works on the oil rigs making it impossible to keep their dog.
He's a small dog.
He's just over 2 years old and completely house trained. He's called Sonny I think because of his sunny nature but I think he should be called Cheeky as he has such a cheeky face. He's good in the car and quite good with other dogs (Though he did have a little shout once at my soft dog)
I've had him now overnight and I HAVE to find him a nice home.
I've got to know him a bit and he really is lovely. When the dog next door kept barking at him he only barked back once, and he hasn't barked at my dog again.
I think he'll be an exellent pet. He's been with 3 wild kids who roamed free and he was also allowed to roam free but he's been sitting in my little garden for hours and completely happy so I think he'd settle to any routine.
Now, after having him for just a few hours I've fallen for him and I'd love to keep him but we can't as we both have mobility problems and our dog seems to like being an only child.
Sorry to confuse anyone who read my earlier post but I've now seen abit of his nature and edited my post.
This dog really is worth adopting and needs a good home.

Hi Mazza I met Sunny last week as his owner came in with him and the 3 wild kids. I had a poster in the shop until today but i took it down as i understood she was leaving Spain last Friday. If you can do another poster with your details I will put it in the shop again.

Thanks Eve. Where is your shop. Please tell everyone about our little Sonny. As I said we can't unfortunately keep him but we've really fallen for him in just a day. This little boy is just waiting to give some lucky person lots of love. xx

Have you thought of SAT?? My parents live on the Urb and got a lovely dog from there last year. Just a thought.

Yes S.A.T.'s are wonderful, that is where we got Sara Dos from and we go there twice a week to walk the dogs too.

Hi Gaily R. I have thought of using agents but we're getting so involved with this little boy we're desperate to find him the right place. I think we're getting too attatched to him. I can't cuddle him much as I know we just can't have another dog and Sonny needs someone younger than us. He's missing his previous family but has settled here so easily. In 2 days he's totally into our routine so he'll settle very quickly into another home. It's a dreadful situation for us. Our dog is so jealous it's heartbreaking but this little boy (Cover your ears Goggs) is the dog you'd dream of. He sits with me in the garden, he doesn't bark back when the dog next door barks at him, he's sociable and could go everywhere with his new owner.
I know this is like a commercial for him but he really is a pal worth having. He has so much love to give, he has to go to a good home xx
