One rule for us and one rule for them !!!

On a large part of the urb with the newer properties (2000ish onwards) the properties come under community rules. I would assume that these rules and regulations have been put in place and voted and agreed upon by the residents themselves. Reading some of these rules it looks like the people who live in these areas want to be treated different from people who live in the older type properties, they do not want loud music where they live, and want everything shut up by midnight, however they think it OK to pop up the road to a local bar and make as much noise as they like outside sat someone else’s property, I have copied the following 3 rules from http://twoormore.co.uk/rules.php
REGARDING THE PEACE & TRANQUILLITY OF THE COMMUNITY.
10.3) It is not permitted to act improperly or shockingly so as to scandalise inside the properties and in the exterior communal areas, or in a way that would jeopardise the tranquillity of the community.
10.4) It is forbidden to cause noise by banging, vibration, explosion by fireworks, excessive screaming, loud laughter etc that may disturb the night resting hours of Midnight to 8am, as determined by the Town Hall.
10.5) The volume of audio & visual equipment such as radios, televisions, stereos and so on, are to be used with moderation so as to not disturb other neighbours’ peace.

It would be nice to know how many bar owners live in areas with these type's of rules ???
