Calling all residents or property owners of El Oasis, please remember to attend the meeting tomorrow Sunday, in the Social Centre, near the Police Station 1st call 11am 2nd call 11:30 am ( whatever that means). they are meeting to discuss how much (if anything) we should contribute towards replacing our infrastructure, that we had destroyed by the previous administration.
3 hours and counting, lets show we mean business and not get railroaded.
well I've come home from that not much the wiser than when I went in there. I voted yes anyway because I'm fed up with all the pontificating over it. Seems very unfair to me a 40-60% split in favour of the Council.Lets hope we can do a bit better than that.

I agree wholeheartedly, El Oasis contributed towards improvements in La Marina and San Fulgencio, why not just split the whole costing across the board, a lot of tax payers paying a little as opposed to a minority paying a lot.This debacle helped bring down the last unjust administration and can do the same at the next election, people have long memories

i think what san figencio have done to the roads is totally illegal,and it is the total reposibility of san fulgencio to put it back to how it was and pay compensation to all the people in oasis
by the way did the residents in san fugencio pay any money for all the work and facilities more talks needed if not call a local election
I am not an Oasis resident,but I agree something has to be done to help the Oasis residents,and it seems the rest of us are standing by and doing nothing,Is it because we may have to put our hand in our pockets,I hope this is not the reason,if it is no one on the Urb will have a chance of getting anything done by this council.We should be standing shoulder to shoulder with these people,and helping them get a good result.
The Council obviously believe in the old adage,"divide them and we must win"Dont let them divide the Urbs.
